SOMERSET SNAP UP BASHLEY'S CHRIS JONES

Talented teenage Bashley (Rydal) batsman Chris Jones has signed a summer Development Contract with Somerset, alongside teammate Max Waller.
The 18-year old former Poole Grammar School student had an outstanding season for Somerset YCs last season and played for England at Under-17 level.  He will take up his contract at Taunton once he completes his A-levels this summer, but plans to continue playing at the BCG.
Jones has played Southern Electric Premier League cricket for Bashley for the past two seasons, having previously been with Poole CC.
