BOURNEMOUTH TRIO HELP DORSET TO MINOR COUNTIES TITLE

Bournemouth trio Nick Park, Matt Metcalfe and Ed Denham played key roles as Dorset clinched the Minor Counties Western Division championship with a 129-run victory over Cheshire at Dean Park. Park hit a first innings 54, while Denham (with 35*) and Metcalfe, with three wickets, played key roles. Brook's Tom Hicks took ten wickets in the match for Dorset, who entertain either Lincolnshire or Suffolk in the Championship decider at Dean Park on September 5.
