HAMPSHIRE UNDER-17s IN ECB CUP SEMI-FINAL

Hampshire Under-17s, containing mainly Academy players, cruised through to the ECB 50-over Cup semi-finals with a comprehensive six-wicket win over Worcestershire, whom they dismissed for 132 (Mason 61) at the Rose Bowl.  Matt King (4-30), Robert Gibson (3-9) and Jordan Finney (3-30) did the damage before Hampshire polished off the runs. Jake George (34), Gibson (29) and Chris Stone (20) paved the victory path. Hampshire have a home tie against Kent in the semi-finals on Sunday, 11am.  The match is at Southern Gardens, Totton.
