EX-GOSPORT BOROUGH STARLET CRACKS QUEENSLAND CENTURY

Teenager Chris Lynn, who played Southern Electric Premier League, Division 3 cricket forĀ Gosport Borough two summers ago, cracked his maiden century for Queensland against Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield in Brisbane today. He made only four runs in the first innings as Queensland were dismissed for 106 but, after WA replied with 286, the 19-year old is holding the Queensland second innings batting together. He was 116 not out at close, an innings which included a six and 19 fours. Queensland were 209-6 at stumps. Lynn is the fourth youngest Queensland batsman to score a century.
