BURRIDGE ALL-ROUNDER NAILS GAYLE AS ZIMBABWE SNATCH THRILLING WIN

Burridge all-rounder Greg Lamb trapped Chris Gayle (57) leg before wicket as Zimbabwe followed up their Twenty20 win over the West Indies by winning the first 50-over ODI by two runs in Guyana. Zimbabwe defended 254-5 (Sibanda 95), despite the West Indies reaching 126-1 and later 233-5 before suffering a typically late and bizarre collapse.  Chanderpaul (70) and Barath (50) appeared to have eased the Windies into a winning position, but a late collapse cost them the game.
