DRAMATIC LAST BALL WIN GETS BOURNEMOUTH OFF TOUR MARK James Park hit a boundary off the last ball of the match to give Bournemouth a thrilling win over Cape Town CC in a Twenty20 Challenge. It was their first win of the six-match Cape Province tour. Cape Town lurched to 62-9 against a fully restored Tom Clark (4-24) and Nick Park (3-27), but rallied to reach 100-9 through Cape Africa Tours' Kyle Williamson (20*) and emerging South Wilts' teenager Rory Cullinan (15*), who added an unbeaten 38 for the last wicket. Bournemouth made a real fist if getting the runs on a low bounce track and slumped to 38-5. Dean Pearce (27 not out) held his nerve while Nick Park (16) and younger sibling James burgled precious runs. In a bizarre and controversial finale, Park junior was bowled off the first ball of the final ovder, but was recalled to the crease after officials spotted the Cape Town bowler had exceeded his four-over quota. Rory Cullinan, whose initial three overs had cost just five runs, began an entire new over (there's one for the South Coast Panel to chew over !), the last ball of which Park slashed for four over backward cover to give Bournemouth victory. Cullinan, who has just begun a three-year university mechanical engineering course in Cape Town, was named man-of-the-match.
