HAMPSHIRE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS QUIT COUNTY DIVISION ONE

Liss, last season's Hampshire League champions, have pulled their title winning side out of County Division 1 for the coming season. It is understood they suffered a player exodus after being denied promotion as they were unable to meet the Southern Electric Premier League's accreditation requirements. Only 17 clubs will play in CD1 this summer, giving each club in turn a free Saturday.
