BOURNEMOUTH LOSE TWO MORE AS TEMPERATURES SOAR

It's four defeats in a row now for Bournemouth, who are struggling as temperatures soar in South Africa's Cape Province. They lost a Twenty20 match against a powerful Groot Drakenstein XI by 39 runs before suffering aneight-wicket defeat at the hands of Western Province Premier League club Bellville.

Groot Drakenstein fielded Boland's Academy XI in a Twenty20 match and rattled up 146-4 (Simon Ridley 3-35) before Bournemouth slipped from 55-2 to 107-9 at stumps.

Bournemouth could only manage 118-9 against Bellville, Dean Pearce (32), James Park (23) and Simon Ridley (19) top scoring. Bellville polished off the target for the loss of just two wickets.
