ROWLEDGE AND HAMBLEDON KNOCKED OUT OF VILLAGE CUP

Southern Electric Premier League Division 2 leaders Rowledge fell to a nine-run defeat against Dinto in the Village Cup sixth round in Buckinghamshire yesterday. Dinton opened with a century partnership and although David Lloyd took 5-50, a totasl of 184-7 proved beyond reach.  Rowledge closed at 175-8. Hambledon lost by 65 runs to Langlebury.
