PREMIER LEAGUE TRIO AIM FOR NATIONAL CUP PROGRESS

Havant, Hambledon and Rowledge carry the Southern Electric Premier League banner into the next phase of the ECB National Club and Village Championships on Sunday.

Havant visit Basingstoke & North Hants in the Group 11 final of the NCKO - the 45-over match at May's Bounty begins at 1 o'clock - and, if successful, will travel to either Spencer or Walton-on-Thames in the last 32.

Hambledon are through to the national stage of the Village Cup for the first time in 20 years - the last time they went this far they actually reached Lord's ! - and entertain Saracens Hertfordshire League club Langlebury at Ridge Meadow (2pm).  Their opponents lie mid-table in HL Division 1.

Rowledge arguably face the toughest test of the trio, away to Dinton, current leaders of the Cherwell League, and a side that has often knocked out Hampshire sides in the past.

Details of all three cup ties will appear on this website on Monday.
