BOURNEMOUTH TEENAGER SET TO FACE BANGLADESH

Teenage Bournemouth left-arm seamer David Payne has been picked to play for England Under-18s against Bangladesh Under-19s at Loughborough on July 3/4.  He recently took 4-9 for an ECB junior side against a Scotland Development XI in Glasgow.

Hampshire Academy pair Michael Bates (with 51) and James Vince, who smashed 75 off 43 balls in a Twenty20 match, also did well in Scotland over the May Bank Holiday week and, along with lft-arm spinner Danny Briggs, are anxiously awaiting news of the England Under-19 squad selection for the upcoming series against Bangladesh.
